Register now! Breaking New Ground - Food Innovation in the EU - 6 November 2017

This training session is aimed to provide companies with useful information about food innovation in the EU. Information on market data and the latest trends in product development will be presented and an expert in EU funding will explain the EU funding available for innovation how can individual companies access to this funding.

An overview of the elements of the regulatory framework that has impact on innovation and market growth will be provided. That will include detailed explanation of mutual recognition by a guest speaker from the European Commission as well as the novel food rules that will be explained by a recognized expert in the area of novel foods and food supplements in Europe providing invaluable expertise to companies seeking to develop and implement strategies for gaining approvals for new products and health claims in Europe.

A case study from a leading company on how it manages product development and innovation will be presented as well as a case study on probiotics presented by an international key player company of microbiota management and partner for universities and research institutes.

Practical information for companies that are seeking to place products on the market in other EU Member States or in third countries will be given to the attendants through an update to EHPM's country profiles document.

The training session will be held where EHPM's office is located - Rue Jacques de Lalaing, 4. 1040 Brussels in the meeting room on the 1st floor from 9:30 to 15:15 CET on 6 November 2017.

The fee for participation is €395 for companies that are members of one of EHPM's national member associations and €495 for companies that are not. A buffet lunch will be provided.
