On 10 December 2014, EHPM used the occassion of a European Parliament workshop on botanicals to launch an update to the 2007 edition of the EHPM Quality Guide. As well as a useful practical tool for companies in their daily operations, the guide is intended as reference document in the context of the ongoing debate at EU level on the regulatory approach to be taken to botanicals. The workshop which was again kindly hosted by MEP Marc Tarabella (S&D, BE) was attended by MEPs, national authorities and industry reprsenentatives. The workshop concluded with a panel discussion that was chaired by MEP Pascal Arimont (S&D, BE). The EHPM Quality Guide and the other tools that have been developed by EHPM to help companies apply it can be downloaded in the Quality section of this website.
